California wildfires: Los Angeles, CA – Actress Candace Cameron Bure, known for her role in Full House, recently shared her devastation after learning that her family’s former home in Los Angeles was completely destroyed in the ongoing California wildfires.

“The whole street is gone. There’s nothing left of the house,” Bure said, holding back tears as she recounted the news.

The house, where Bure raised her children, had been sold to a new owner who had recently sent her a photo of himself sitting by the pool with his cat. “He said it was really feeling like home for them, and they loved it,” Bure said. “And then today, it’s gone.”

Memories Reduced to Ashes

Bure expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the home, which she and her family had lovingly rebuilt and remodeled. “We put a lot of time and energy into making that home what it was. To see it all gone—not even a single wall standing—is just heartbreaking,” she shared.

The actress also lamented the broader destruction caused by the fires, which have ravaged entire neighborhoods. “I’m so sad for everyone. We loved this city, and it’s just heartbreaking to see so many people left with nothing.”

California Wildfires Displace Thousands

The wildfires raging across California have forced the evacuation of an estimated 180,000 people, with only essential workers allowed into affected areas. Entire communities have been reduced to rubble, leaving residents grappling with the loss of homes, possessions, and memories.

Bure expressed a strong desire to help but noted the helplessness of the situation. “We’re just sitting here, waiting because we can’t do anything yet. So, I’m praying for it to stop.”

As firefighters battle the flames, the tragedy serves as a stark reminder of the destructive power of nature and the resilience needed to rebuild.
